This is the website of Markus Gattol. It is composed and driven exclusively by Open Source Software. The speciality of this website is,
that it is seamlessly integrating into my daily working environment (Emacs + Python + Linux) which therefore means it becomes
a fully fledged and automatized publishing and communication platform. It will be under construction until 2012.

What is this Page?
The Index of the published Schedule Data

This page is part of a bigger context called Markus's Scheduling and self-management System. Following pages are considered being part of this context:

  • GTD (Getting Things Done)
  • The Schedule of Markus Gattol which links to
    • The index (current page) of Markus's to-the-net-published schedule data
  • The PIM (Personal Information Manager) system existing of
    • GNU Emacs and some add-on software which is
    • planner-mode and
    • org-mode

Pick the link below to start at the very beginning (i.e. schedule data main page). This one explains what the schedule is, how to read it i.e. a description of certain symbols etc., why it is so valuable to Markus and how it works respectively it links to pages which explain the technology under the hood.

What is this Page?

This page is part of the published result of my PIM (Personal Information Manager) system (planner-mode and org-mode) running on top of (i.e. being a package) GNU Emacs.

This page is an index page which links to many other pages from the published result of my PIM system. It gets updated anytime I make changes to the data within my PIM system e.g. update a tasks deadline or add a new task. In other words, at any times, the reader has always an up-to-date version of my schedule in order to see what I am currently busy with, what task are on my radar, what priority they have, what task have been delegated or canceled etc.
Since this is an index page, one might think of it as of a spider web's center — all pages regarding my schedule can be visited from here since any of the links below links to one of my planner pages. As can be seen, there are two different groups of pages. At first there is a list which contains project pages also known as plan pages. Second to the project pages, there is a table which contains day pages. Day pages show tasks, schedule, and notes for the day, while project pages organize related tasks and notes into a single page.
